Terms and Conditions
Cancellation
If individual lessons cannot be taken or if a person wishes to cancel, it is possible to appoint a substitute participant who will take over the services.
Agreed services can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours (weekdays Monday-Friday) before the start of the first agreed lesson.

Cancellation / postponement of lessons
Individual lessons may be cancelled or postponed by e-mail no later than 16.00 hours on the previous working day (Monday - Friday). In case of later cancellations or postponements, studygerman.ch has the right to charge for the service. Should the teacher be absent at short notice, the lesson will be cancelled and an alternative date will be offered.

Payment
Payment needs to be completed before the start of the service, studygerman.ch has the right to suspend the lessons until payment is made.

Private groups
The same conditions apply to private group bookings as to individual lessons. In the event of a private group member dropping out or cancelling, the full course fee is still owed so that the group can continue. An individual cancellation of an ongoing private group credit is thus excluded.

Cancellation of group courses / non-attendance of the course
If course participants are unable to attend the course or if course participants wish to cancel the course, the client has the option of appointing a substitute participant who meets the (minimum) requirements of the relevant course.
Agreed courses can be cancelled up to one week before the start of the course. This must be done in writing by e-mail. After this time, cancellation is no longer possible and the course participants owe the full course fee.

Missing lessons / cancellation of the course
Course participants who do not show up for the course without prior cancellation are not entitled to make up the missed lessons or to ask for compensation for the lessons not attended. This also applies in the case of illness and other hindrances that do not fall within studygerman.ch area of responsibility. It is the responsibility of the course participants to catch up on missed content and to procure the necessary materials.
